話你知點樣4個月攻入Securities Services?📍刪左你個名份CV就同其他人一樣🤔叫面試官點記得你/請你?Career Hackers 年中都幫唔少無GPA、無經驗嘅同學仔,搵到方法拎到Bulge Bracket Banks入場卷,做Intern 再斬獲 Full time offer。但總有同學仔唔係「百無」,但卻 Fail 晒所有面試,過晒Recruitment season後感覺世界末日😢。其實衰咗一兩次真係唔使驚,因為識得搵出令你衰嘅問題先係關鍵!今次想同大家分享Peterson (化名) 嘅例子,了解佢點樣炒哂幾間美資BB banks嘅PB、CMB、Finance 1st round Interview,失落埋Recruitment season😭,再喺短短4個月後捲土重來🔥,仲入到全行好少Headcount嘅securities services🤩!Peterson 喺Year 3就嚟完嘅時候頹到爆咁搵我哋,大家都想知道發生咩事🤔,所以同佢剖析邊個位出咗事。🔍我哋初步睇過佢CV,發現:📚學歷?中學大學都係名校出身,GPA有3.3,唔少學生GPA低過佢都入到ibank,所以學歷唔係關鍵問題 → next👨🏻💻實習經驗?做過Accounting、Big 4 audit、Banking intern。雖然Bullet points 寫得有啲普通,但都未係致命傷嘅 → next👑Intangibles?喔!大問題喇。因為CV內完全搵唔到。成份CV唔能夠講到一個Story,就好似一個典型想盲衝入banking嘅學生,毫無獨特性,只要你份CV改一改名、換埋Intern公司名✏️I am sorry, who? 就好似其他倒模嘅Candidate一樣,無人記得你。😪🔍更大鑊嘅係,我哋問咗幾條BB大行常問嘅Interview questions,聽完佢嘅答案就Boom!💣💣1️⃣ 佢完全答唔出之前幾份Internship 到底做緊乜,問佢關於之前做過嘅Division 幾條好Entry Level 嘅 Technical 問題 -答唔到 🤦💣2️⃣ 佢好努力想令自己嘅Speech變得Entertaining,但Delivery上其實非常平鋪直敘,顯示唔到任何獨特嘅Intangibles🤦。咁點樣短短4個月針對性地解決呢幾個問題呢?1️⃣ 將我哋本內部秘籍《Theoretical Minimum Series》分Part 畀Peterson攻讀,再透過Project-based learning 幫佢極速補底,知道自己學咗咩,用咗喺Project 邊度,講得返出嚟,再Challenge technical questions時唔會再喺面試官前口啞啞 ✅2️⃣ 我哋其中兩位Coaches Break down咗自己嘅一套Delivery技巧,傳授咗畀Peterson,搣甩佢本來嘅Chinglish 同埋無Intonation 嘅Presentation,講得一口令 interviewer有興趣聽落去嘅英文 ✅3️⃣ 透過Hacking script 同 Intangibles factory,重新為Peterson塑造一個帶有獨特個人魅力嘅branding 👑我哋知道佢鐘意玩Poker,所以都希望佢分享多少少有關嘅Episodes,而呢啲點滴係點樣建立佢嘅Personality,令到佢唔再係一個 Random John Doe ✅最後當收到HSBC Securities Services 面試邀請嘅時候, Peterson 已經比4個月前脫胎換骨,順利地斬獲Summer Offer 😌上埋我地嘅Return Offer Masterclass,教佢實習每個星期要爭取咩表現,做到咩Tasks,輕鬆攞埋Return offer!Career Hackers 成日講到口臭😮💨,唔好覺得自己成續ok,入過大firm internship 就好快沾沾,因為呢啲全部都只係Bare minimum,有機會去入到頭輪面試🏁,但距離入Final round攞offer,都仲需要更多advanced substance先至做到⛳。嚟緊嘅Recruiting season 希望大家都順順利利喇🤞,如果你發現自己開始同Peterson 初初遇到嘅情況好似👀,唔好拖或怕羞喇,即刻去Bio Link/ Story Highlight 搵我哋Book 個Coaching Program Demo 傾傾,唔使開Cam 唔怕樣衰嘅~
