從EY新女CEO 到睇返Women program愈來愈多 唔通做女仔更有著數?近年gender equality嘅議題鬧得熱烘烘🔥,唔少嘅industry都會promote women-friendly嘅workplace。喺金融依一行入面除咗兩大Big 4 - EY同Deloitte分別以高達64%嘅大中華區女性員工比例,同最高女性合伙人比例取勝之外,bulge bracket banks都有唔少women program俾專為女生而設。咁近年係咪真係女權抬頭?變相女仔更加有優勢過男生?一齊睇吓個market啦!先略略數吓各大行有咩programme?💃🏻 Goldman Sachs Women’s Possibilities Summit💃🏻 JP Morgan Winning Women💃🏻 Morgan Stanley Women Early Insights Programs💃🏻 Citi Women in Banking Scholarship Event💃🏻 Citi Asia Women in Banking Series參加Women Program除咗可以俾你同行內嘅領袖交流,仲有唔少嘅workshop📑包括Mock Interview、Case Study Wor等主題俾你參加準備。除此之外,唔少公司仲會為women program嘅參加者提供internship/ graduate opportunity嘅fast track 面試機會,等你唔使喺同其他人競爭😌。除咗 junior role增加女性投入職場嘅gateway,改變都有從top down,唔止bottom up咁並行啦!最近呢幾年finance sector女性決策層都多咗,除咗Citi 及Accenture CEO外,最近新公布就係EY嘅任命,搵咗同時係Women's World Banking嘅主席嘅Janet Truncale接棒全球主席兼CEO,下年7月上任,佢仲係Big 4首位女性CEO!✨👍🏻👀 咁Janet Truncale係咩人?有咩過人之處?Janet1991年加入EY時只係一個intern,之後服務同一間公司33年,佢憑住client management能力脫穎而出,好快就晉升到喺Americas Financial Services 中做領導職位,一步一步爬上高位 🪜👑🔸IPO Leader (2008-2010)🔸Banking & Capital Markets Co-Sector Leader (2009-2023)🔸Assurance主管合夥人 (2013-2020)🔸主管 (2020-現在)⚠️佢亦曾擔任客戶Nasdaq嘅協調合夥人,見證Nasdaq 2002年首次IPO。喺過去10年,作為Vice Chair and Regional Managing Partner及Financial Services Organizatio MD,前前後後領導咗過萬人嘅專業團隊,提高審計服務質量同團隊嘅戰略決策、運營同管理。雖然佢主要服務嘅market係美洲區,但成績有目共睹。就連現屆CEO Di Sibio都大讚Janet十分重視團隊文化,為佢嘅管理能力打咗支強心針,認為佢可以好好connect公司上下以及客戶,帶來業務增長。由Janet 工餘嘅活動同背景都可以睇到Janet裏裏外外都散發住global leader嘅charisma。😍😍🤔咁當然Janet上位並非只係因為佢係女性,呢度就不得不提EY嘅分拆計劃喇舊年5月,現任CEO Di Sibio宣布啟動「珠穆朗瑪峰計劃」,打算將諮詢業務從會計業務中分拆出嚟。可惜未夠7個月,就遭到美國執行委員會反對,擔心分拆可能會牽涉大減審計業務,而美國業務佔EY總收入嘅40%,都冇理由唔聽執行委員會嘅意見。計劃雖然已豪使六億,最終都胎死腹中,雖然operation上好似解決咗,但內部嘅分裂,同員工對高層決策及權力遊戲嘅質疑就好難搞掂。所以喺今次CEO之戰當中,除咗睇業務成績,全球合夥人都對候選人嘅領導能力寄予厚望。本來黑馬嘅Andy Baldwin 早前係分拆計劃嘅vocal supporter,同現任大佬Di Sibio 關連密切,加上接近退休年齡,可能因為種種因素,合夥人最後都係揀咗Janet,希望佢團結EY 上下超過39萬名同員工同合夥人。據悉Janet已經開始重整佢嘅團隊同製定新嘅strategy!喺近年講求equality嘅世界,女仔嘅opportunities真係多咗、著數咗嘅。不過真係要成為 #登上懸崖峭壁的女子 都要以實力取勝,不斷用唔同嘅機會去展現自己嘅長處🏅,無論係同一間公司不斷向上爬,定係不斷跳槽晉升,去到最後好多都同gender無關嘅喇。想咁沿路好好裝備自己一路向上爬?唔知自己應該喺同一個role專攻上去定係不停過塘再跳上高峰,都可以去我地嘅bio link了解coaching program📞,同我地嘅coach搵出屬於你嘅優勢做好career planning,請教更多行業最新資訊,為未來做足準備啦!
