仲用緊SWOT同BCG Matrix?想advanced啲嘅話 ➡️ 有咩consulting framework可以用?相信大家都知道consulting firms嘅小組面試一定會要求candidate用唔同嘅framework嚟分析一間公司嘅表現並且提出可行建議。但係埋到interview room,如果同場嘅其他candidate同你都係用緊一模一樣嘅framework,講緊一模一樣嘅point,咁你又可以點stand out呢?😎 如果你係interviewer,聽咗成日SWOT analysis都會覺得悶,唔會記得啲candidate講過啲咩。呢個時候就當然要轉數快,用一啲advanced啲嘅model去引入新嘅觀點,等面試官覺得你唔係剩係識得執人口水尾,亦都有為個討論add value💪。所以今次就等小編介紹下仲有啲咩好用嘅framework,為大家下個recruitment season做好準備啦!🔺BCG Experience CurveBCG Experience Curve所表達嘅其實係一個好簡單嘅concept:「熟能生巧」。當一間公司持續生產一件貨品,佢嘅生產過程會因為累積落來嘅經驗(experience)變得越來越有效率,減省生產成本。一件貨品推出得越耐,佢嘅成本就會越低。假設你係一間manufacturer,你就可以比較自己件貨品嘅「生產成本下降速度」係咪高於行業平均值。🔺McKinsey Performance PrismPerformance Prism(PP)叫Prism係因為佢用5個面向去分析公司嘅狀況。用嘅時候會首先identify間公司嘅持份者滿足度(stakeholder satisfaction)同貢獻(contribution),然後再根據呢兩方面去研究公司嘅策略(strategy)、程序(process)、同埋能力(capabilities)。例如,一間汽車生產商假設未能夠滿足到客人轉用綠色能源嘅需求嘅話,咁就要睇下capabilities上,間公司可唔可以開新嘅電動車生產線喇。🔺McKinsey Growth PyramidGrowth Pyramid可以幫一間公司identify如果佢哋想繼續expand嘅話,可以用啲咩strategy,同埋會伴隨著嘅risk係幾多。個Pyramid有分好多層,由最簡單將現有嘅product賣俾新嘅客、拓展去其他地方,去到開發新嘅市場都有。例如Microsoft收購Open AI,喺個pyramid入面就係「opening new competitive arenas」,喺科技公司之間打開新嘅戰場,向其他科網巨頭挑戰。以上所講嘅只係好簡單嘅介紹,呢啲consulting framework當然唔係睇完背咗就識用啦。每個interview會用到嘅case都唔一樣,imply緊嘅objective都可能唔同,夾硬為咗拋書包然後用錯曬嘅話分分鐘得不償失。要真係做到「熟能生巧」就要不斷練習,訓練自己嘅interview instinct,一見到條case interview question就可以自動代入到邊個framework最幫到你搵到insight,佔盡先機。要practice嘅話,有啲咩好得過用真實嘅interview question呢?我哋Career Hackers就咁啱準備咗個Giveaway Campaign【Case Interview Samples of Top Consulting Firms】!喺呢一個giveaway入面,我哋compile咗超過30頁嘅case interview questions,全部都係嚟自top consulting firms(McKinsey、Bain、Accenture、Deloitte)!唔單止咁,裡面仲會有埋answer framework,等大家練完都可以有個reference知道自己答成點,同埋點樣可以進步,真真正正活用唔同嘅framework,成為一個star candidate。想要呢個giveaway嘅話,就喺呢個post嘅comment入面tag兩個friend,然後screenshot個comment DM我哋啦!(先到先得!一定要DM至攞到㗎!)
