[Management Consulting Series 4 - 唔同Interview Stage答嘅嘢都要唔同🤯?First round vs Final round要注意嘅事項!]大家都知道interviews 通常都唔會剩係1 round 咁簡單,會有First Round, Second Round 甚至 Third Round,但你哋又知唔知道咁多round interviews嘅要求同目的有咩唔同? 今日就率先同大家討論下first round interview !🥳叫得做first round,其實interviewers 嘅目的好直接😌,就係睇下你符唔符合呢份工嘅特徵。用consulting 做例子,interviewers 會睇你能唔能夠用consultant嘅角度諗嘢以及識唔識同client溝通相處🤔。係Case interview 入面佢哋除咗會考核你俱唔俱備consultant嘅基本能力,例如係分析同組織能力,仲會考驗你識唔識點同client溝通。例如,如果client嘅諗法唔單至錯,甚至會令問題雪上加霜,你又會點樣話比佢知個idea唔work得嚟,又唔會破壞彼此嘅關係呢?🤫所以,就算你有驚為天人嘅idea,唔識點說服client嘅話,佢哋都有可能第一round就篩走你! 🥵另一樣嘢大家要留意嘅就係,first round interview 可以由唔同種形式舉行,例如係in-person,phone,video同group interview。唔同嘅形式都係考核緊你唔同嘅skills㗎! 🤗#️⃣In-person記住留意同interviewers 嘅eye contact!👁 即使你已經present完,都要keep住同interviewers 有eye contact 同show到你自信嘅一面。好多時interviewers 唔係想搵一個absolutely effective 嘅solutions ,反而係你點樣將你嘅idea變成一個具說服力嘅point。佢哋好易睇得出你對自己嘅答案肯唔肯定!🤥#️⃣Video / PhoneEye contact依然好重要! 值得留意係,用呢個format 記住留意有無video / audio delay🔊。如果唔肯定有無,就減慢自己present 嘅節奏,同埋唔怕重覆多幾次重要嘅point,確保interviewers 真係聽到。如果interviews涉及計數嘅時候,記得interviewers 係睇唔到你嘅calculations 㗎! 要一步步同interviewers 慢慢解釋翻啲步驟。😙#️⃣Group話明係group,其中一個考核重點當然就係work as a team嘅能力啦! 你可以點準備? 由今日開始,嘗試留意多啲自己日常生活入面同其他人嘅交流! 你會唔會好多時無心講錯嘢? 你講嘢嘅時候會唔會太argumentative ? 如果有,可以嘗試由今日開始慢慢學習同人建立一個positive 嘅交流!😝講咗咁多,可能你會覺得呢啲只不過係微不足道嘅地方,但試諗下,你自己工作嘅時候,想遇到一個唔識溝通嘅天才定係相對上遜色啲,但同佢相處得嚟好開心工作氣氛好好?😏 呢啲soft skills同technical skills 一樣咁重要! 亦都係first round睇重開地方。入到嚟second 甚至final round,interviewers 已經唔再睇邊個係一個good candidates , 因為大家入得嚟都係😎。佢哋睇嘅係,邊個能夠做得比佢哋預期中好。🧐至於係case 方面,同第一round嘅分別在於今次有可能係一日內比多過一個case你去分析。目的係睇下你夠唔夠consistent⏳ 。有啲人可能一開始最精神嘅時候分析好獨到🧠,但如果隨著時間過去跌watt跌得好勁,幾個鐘就開始謝皮,呢方面就要小心多啲喇! 🥵亦要小心去到後面佢未必會再比老是常出現同好classic 嘅case你去分析🥶,要有心理準備會係你未prep過同無一個framework 可以100%套入去嘅case到分析。如果真係遇到一個好weird嘅case,嘗試靈活運用學過嘅framework,唔好只係跟住傳統嘅用法。但如果真係唔得,就唔好強行亂用,情願唔用,好過用錯🤥。Interviewers 最唔想見到啲人硬套framework 落去 / over structuring 🤯總括而言,interviewers second 或者final round 好多時睇你嘅consistency同team work等等嘅skills去睇你個package 能唔能夠符合個工作同有無exceed interviewers 嘅expectations🏅
