Mission Impossible?8個月由Big 4 level profileUpgrade 殺入BB bank不是夢!「我只有一份Big4 internship,係唔係距離入ibank 太遠,成功機會有機高?」📥呢條問題小編都唔知喺DM度收過幾多次,答大家:遠!如果你近乎final year先開始plan的話。BUT!成功機會高!只要你搵岩識得幫你plan嘅coaches!✨就等小編今次分享一個8個月殺入Bulge Bracket Bank嘅成功個案喇!先睇睇James 嘅Profile:🏫嚟自三大⌛Year 2 接近Easter時搵我哋coaches💼CV上嘅工作經驗唔多,只有幾份無名start-up &一份 Big 4 實習單睇Profile都已經可以講到兩個問題✌️1️⃣) 唔夠高質嘅intern經驗 (a.k.a. 無反映出佢係曾經被嚴格篩選過嘅candidate)2️⃣) 缺乏 narrative & intangibles (a.k.a. 無任何banker vibe或似BB banks IBD Analyst嘅character)既然James嘅目標好清晰亦好有決心,唔見BB banks嘅 IBD offer唔擺休,咁點樣幫佢揼個Hacking Path,由現時嘅Big 4 audit level 🆙UPGRADE 🆙 到 IBD level 呢?(⭐基本上即係4x佢嘅career)要「一步登天」其實係唔太可能嘅喇(Career Hackers 從來都唔行 Rich Uncles & Aunties路線),但我地可以做嘅就係:其一,提供咗guaranteed work experience 俾佢step closer to 類近產業,比到talking points同埋transferrable skillset佢 💬;其二,幫佢train up networking skills👥,令佢成功由audit team internal transfer去restructuring team,再利用喺新team嘅經驗,land咗 Big 3 consulting firms MBB嘅part time associate offer。James 其後被派去負責一個M&A consulting project📋,打好基礎之後,我地就幫佢準備,報 boutique IBD firm嘅internship。而同一時間,我哋都着手幫James 去build up intangibles👑。因為我地之前見得太多學生,被學業或者眼前嘅intern overwhelm 咗,只顧boost up technicality但忽略放眼bigger picture定奪你係唔係industry fit!舉個例,當有兩team人搵你幫手,而兩team之間都有conflict of interests,你點diplomatically liase你嘅決定,又唔會順得哥情失嫂意,就係intangibles training 會照顧到的aspect。🔱Don’t win the battle but lose the war at the end.到咗Year 3過完聖誕🎅,James 就收到其中一個BB bank嘅email,搵佢喺除夕做phone interview 📞。準備充足嘅佢一啲都唔驚青,亦無沉醉於holiday mood中,我地亦即時夜晚幫佢加操 emergency interview training,成功搞掂phone-in進入Superday拎埋Offer~!八個月前開始搵我地幫手prep嘅功夫一啲都無白廢⭐!James仲寄咗盒朱古力同埋Thank you 卡俾我哋Coaches,多謝佢哋犧牲咗自己個聖誕長假幫佢prep interviews,Hey~講呢啲?!我哋就叫佢攞埋return offer先再諗呢啲禮節野~當然最後佢都真係拎到~對Career Hackers 嚟講,授人以魚不如授人以漁🎣,你入到心儀行業同搵到最適合自己嘅career path,繼續幫我哋boost success rate,就係對我哋最大嘅禮物喇🎁!不過呢,人人 upgrad 自己嘅plan 都唔同,James就用8個月📅,有同學只用咗2個coaching sessions由non-BBA background 轉入CMB😲,亦有同學放長線吊大魚Y1開始join 我哋個coaching program。你個Profile要用幾耐、咩方法、想入邊行,不妨同我哋Career Success Manager Schedule 個demo call 問下先~😉?
